Good evening all. Today started out with Master P feeling lousy from chemo but with some wonderful Ativan on board, he perked up and got a lot of art time and playing in. Eating, not so much. But that is the chemo MO. And now this... I find that even after two months of this new life, it often feels surreal... unreal... insurmountable. But then I remind myself that we are doing it. We are waking up, kicking ass and repeating. And its not because we are super human or the best parents ever. Does having a rock star, optimistic and very special kid help? You betcha. But the truth is, we couldnt do it without the Friends of Padraig. The help we get from all of you is what keeps this mildly oiled machine moving. So a thousand thank yous to the family, friends, community, doctors, nurses, businesses that care for our kid, care for us, feed us all, help us raise our other children, send us their positive energy and love, support us through fund raising and contributing, laugh with us, cry with us, pray for us, embrace us and make us believe that we have the ability to get through it all day after day.
