Good evening beautiful beings. How are you all tonight? I was - TopicsExpress

Good evening beautiful beings. How are you all tonight? I was driving home from my brother’s house today and I got to thinking about expectations and belief – yes again lol. But this is more about our expectations when we begin to make changes to the way we think. Please bare with me on this one as this might be a bit convoluted ;) I was thinking about how I really don’t want to go to work tomorrow. I’m grateful and appreciate my job – but it’s not my passion, it doesn’t give me joy or even a sense of pride anymore. I continue to work this job because of expectations – the expectation that I will help to pay for the mortgage, bills, food etc etc etc. These are the expectations that consume the majority of us and tho it may be a form of compromise, it is a daily action that can cause sadness, depression, misery, anger and a host of other not so fun feelings. The average West Australian yearly wage for 2012 was $78,743.00 (livingin-australia/salaries-australia/). Now hands up those who actually earn that! I don’t know about you but my hand is not flying high. Like so many people, we have been on the bones of our butts, saving every 5c coin so that we can pay for another loaf of bread. Its actually the reason why I got into the spiritual/newage retail game in the first time. Now I have come full circle since that time – but the issue of financial abundance still concerns and spurs me on. It also continues the compromise that is currently part of my daily pattern. Now this post is not so much about the abundance as it is more about the moment that we change our thought patterning and begin to accept our life as we want it. Louise Hay talks about it all the time – and I have a huge amount of time and respect for the lady and what she speaks. However – as for so many, it’s a bit hard to make the leap from poverty line to health, wealth and happiness. And this is what this post is all about. :D Take for example – dis-ease. Now most of us understand that there is always an emotional factor that promotes dis-ease and when we look at the emotional factors – acknowledge, learn, heal, integrate and grow we remove the dis-ease from our psyche. Sometimes it’s spontaneously, but normally it takes a while to complete the process, especially if you have been ill for sometime, not to mention the actual work that needs to go into the acknowledgement, learning and healing part of the process. What we don’t realise, this very same process is part of our thinking pattern as well. When we make that first decision to change our thought patterning and vibrations – we feel good. We feel optimistic. The world is our oyster. Everything is rainbows and sparkles. Then when everything doesn’t fall into place straight away we lose a bit of our “high”. We begin to worry, doubt, stress and the high becomes a low. We question and doubt our self. We come up with such sayings as “the timing’s not right” and so forth. All in all we sabotage ourselves with our expectations of “we changed our thinking, we’re accepting the great….but as it’s not happening, then we obviously are not supposed to have it”. What a mean and awful thing we are doing to ourselves! The same process of Acknowledgement, Learn, Heal, Integrate and Grow for working with our dis-ease is the same way we work with our new thinking patterns. Acknowledge how your thinking and actions affect you. Learn how to think and change your thought and vibration patterns. Heal how you deal with self, others and situations. Integrate all you have learnt into your everyday practice and allow Growth. This can take time! It can take a week, a month, a year or even 3. But every time you put a foot in front of the other you get a step closer. Be gentle with yourself, and remember to love yourself enough to give yourself the time to complete the process in its entirety.
