Good evening everyone- Oliver, our sweet orange notty KATZ has been very sad since losing his brother Sir James. For the most part he sleeps, or looks out the window over the cornfield that he and James played in all the time. They were certainly bonded brothers and his playmate and wrestling partner is not here anymore and though he was with me as we prepared the place where Sir James would rest forever, he is still lonely. I wish I could tell you that Emily Rose and I are enough to ease his pain, but sadly, we are not. He has no interest in his toys and has not even been near Emily Rose at all. I do hold him an he will purr for me, but that time is short before he wants to be put down. His momma, Ohsea KATZ wants nothing to do with him and hisses or growls at him if he tries to approach her (she has been like this since shes been spayed for some reason) It is sat to see this little KATZ looking out the window for hours, perking up when he sees something move only to resign in disappointment. I am trying to spend time with him, getting him boxes to play in, special treats for him, but he cant be bothered. As soon as I see ANY indication of his former self, I will, with great joy, post it for all to see.I am thankful he is eating and never misses a meal, which he use to enjoy in the laundry room with his brother. I am sure he will be fine in time, I just dont know when. He does know his momma loves him so that is a start. Luv to all. Kathleen
