Good evening, most of you already know that I am on the ballad for Tribal Council. I have been thinking about it and yes some of you have ask me. Will I be down there campaigning. I have decided that I will be at work instead. I feel my job description is much more important. By making this decision, yes I understand it might cost me some votes. But I feel working with these kids on a daily basis, in the classroom and on the field, I would be more productive staying with them. All of you are right, none of you are wrong. Yes, there are still questions that have not been answered. By representing you, I will find those answers for you. I will sit there and be your voice. I will make decisions that not only will affect you, but will also affect me. Yes, I have family here as many of us do in this community. But I will be fair, for everyone. I have seen to many things that have happened that were clearly not fair. I want to be involved in decisions that will help the people of the Mescalero Apache Tribe, in any aspect. I commend all those on that ballad, I will not spend any time being negative. We are all family here, theres enough of the negative. Regardless of the outcome of this vote, I will be satisfied on who moves on. Tomorrow, the Tribal Members have the opportunity to speak. If I move forward with this, I will not let any of you down. And for sure, I will always be honest, I have nothing to hide, this is your Tribe. My door will always be open, as it is for my Student Athletes. Good luck to everyone on that list, and for who you decide. Im sure its for the better good. I will be down there to vote as soon as my football practice is over. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE PRIDE IN MY TRIBE, MESCALERO APACHE....
