Good evening....tonight A took her last morphine pill...and no more Oxycodin.....Dr. Houses nurse said this was a good plan to follow...and from here on...follow As requests, rather than a schedule...if she has any pain...go with Tylenol. She is suffering side effects of the narcotics, and the sooner we can get her system clean of them...the better...more water...move around...eat lots of fruits and vegetables...stretch...walks....less sleeping all day all night...wish her luck it will all work.....dont worry...no rush....A is going at her pace.....she will still take her seizure meds as she has since the surgery...then when Dr. says she is ready....she will start to wean off those as well. Her vision is still a concern...nurse said it could take a couple of months....the only pain she has complained about is in her side....we saw her primary Dr. today who checked all things, and seems that it is colon related....dont think I will go into details here...but we are just short of force feeding her prunes.....we have a new med that will hopefully fix this problem!!!!! As I write this...we are watching a young moose bed down in front of our deck....3 bucks at the water hole...and an elk sauntering by.....natures company for us tonight!!!!
