Good lesson today on why it is important to learn dog body language. Walking Miller, something made me turn, and sure enough 2 large dogs had come up behind us. Something in the behavior scared me. I stood still and tall and was able to call them down through loud back and go ons and by leaning towards them. I scanned for a fence to get behind, but nothing was open so my only choice was to stand my ground. It happened very quickly, they both stood down, we moved on and I actually ended up crying I was so scared/my adrenaline level had sky-rocked. I realized later, that they were in-fact stalking. Another post shared that two large dogs had killed a rooster, which was in the yard we were in front of at the time. Two intact, large male dogs together can mean a lot of trouble. Trust your gut and NEVER approach a dog, even ones you know, without caution.
