Good mornin, friends! Sorry for the silence earlier. The two precious baby girl chirrens who have been visitin with us didnt come over today, so the little-Little and I slept in a while. If truth be told, the little-Little is still sleepin. She told me last night she needs at least ten hours sleep each night. She read this is The Feelings Book. I told her I needed that much sleep as well and shes all, Dont be ridiculous. And Im all, Im not ridiculous. Im old and tired. Last night, over supper, I properly use the slang word salty. I like to keep up with what the young people are sayin, but this was one I couldnt get my head around on accounta how what the freak with salty? I ask the two college boys and my own College Girl to explain it earlier this week and still cant get it. As theyre dicussin this fella whom they all agree is a pretentious snob, I say, He sounds salty. They all stop. I follow up, Like Dead Sea salty. High fives and kudos all around for my masterful use of salty. Hope yall are present this mornin, doin whatever you feel needs doin with a joyful heart. Sometimes, its okay to muster enough love and light to manage the joyful heart part of that scenario. Sometimes, the victory is just gettin through the day without an assault charge. I get it, friends. Im a little salty myself today.
