Good mornin, having trouble getting to going this a.m. but things has got to begin getting better, you see I got my coffee poured up and a sipping on it, and trying to git in rumination mode, but its a slow thing. There is a psalm that keeps coming to mind that might need some consideration on a day like this, to paraphrase it would be Create in me a Clean Heart, Oh God, renew that Right Spirit in me, Restore to me the Joy of my Salvation. That has always been one of my favorites, the 23rd being first to most people. There is a lots of bad things going on in this old world, and , frankly Im very concerned about whether or not God will tolerate the way we going much longer. I think that the main downfall, amongst all things going on is the falling away from FAMILY , and by that I mean the unity and togetherness of family along with teaching children at an early age, the difference of right and wrong. So I think I will start mentioning my cares about family more in my prayers. I was gittin mower gas yesterday at I-75 and Tom Smith came up and we were talking and he said he was about to go to N.C. to see his dad Thomas, who is very sick, and nearing lifes end. We talked about how we loveThomas, yes, even I do because he was always so good to me, and he was always my encourager to listen and mind what God has in mind for the lost, I didnt realize it at the time, but after lookin back I can see where Thomas had a big influence on where my life is today. I know life comes for a season, then goes, and I know my friend Thomas will be welcome across that river. Life, and the blessings of life all come from God, life is precious, and shouldnt be taken for granted or devalued any way, but when it is ended because of inconvenience , a baby killed, a life ended for the sake of pleasure, I cant see how the creator of life will allow this much longer. I will let this be abbreviated this morning, to allow for yall to have more pondering time, just as you go through this day, try to keep in mind what the big picture is showing, cast all your cares and prayers upon The Lord, He wants us to do that.
