Good morning. :-). Cards from yesterday revealed. Left. The Hierophant The hierophant is shown as a man at one with nature. He appears to be part of the trees he stands with, absorbing the strength and healing powers of the mighty cedar, a tree well known for its healing, purification and protective powers. In his hand he holds a Celtic triquettra or trinity, representing body, mind and spirit. General meaning: Healing, of the mind and the body. Strength and wisdom from nature. Traditional teachings. Education and learning. Religious matters. The Hierophant is a strong spiritual person who can help you in many ways. The advice he gives will be good and worth listening to, and usually means that you should do things in the correct or traditional way. Sometimes the card means there will be someone to give you the spiritual or natural healing that you need at this time, and it can also mean there could be some sort of connection with a church or hospital. For instance, if the knight of cups is near, there could be a wedding soon. With the four of swords, there could be a stay in hospital. It can even mean dealings with bureaucracy or the legal system. Middle: Page of wands - Opportunity The young man carries a suitcase in his hand indicating that he is travelling somewhere. The ship and the plane both indicate travel too. The flying letter and telephone mean that news will be arriving soon. The light bulbs growing as flowers represents ideas. The dog indicates a loyal friend. The man carries a large pencil and note pad indicating his connection with communication. General Meaning Travel. Communication. New ideas and opportunities. Enthusiasm. Loyal friend. Communication and new ideas, plus opportunities to travel all come with this card. As a person, it indicates a loyal friend, possibly connected with a craft or trade, who is full of enthusiasm and energy for whatever he or she does. Right: 4 of Cups-Apathy This card shows the oldest bridge in Australia (1823) and the oldest Catholic Church (1837), both at Richmond, Tasmania. The 4 Cups hang under the arches of the bridge, drained of their contents. This indicates a loss of interest. ( You will notice the sad-looking faces there, with the Cups forming the eyes and the piers of the bridge forming the noses.) The people are blindfolded, indicating they are unable to see and therefore unable to appreciate what they have. They wear the convict uniform of early Richmond to show that they are imprisoned by their narrow-minded ideas. The garbage floating in the river shows that no one really cares about anything very much. The person in the front is bored by everything and the grass appears to be greener on the next hill. However, the sun behind the cloud indicates that things will improve soon. General meaning Apathy. Boredom. Dissatisfied with everything. Lack of motivation. Unable to see opportunities available. New approach ineeded. After reaching a high, you find everything boring and just cant be bothered with people and things around you, so tend to drop into dissatisfaction and self-inflicted apathy. You need a change of attitude.
