** Good morning- Hope you all had a great Christmas! Next post will be at 5pm AEST ** 1. Just wondering if anyone can tell me. My baby girl is a week and 2days old. She hasnt left the hospital since she was born, other than to be transferred to another hospital when she was just over 24hrs old. They have diagnosed her with hirschsprung disease and only just operated yesterday afternoon. So its been a very stressful time. My question is to do with breastfeeding/expressing. Since I havent been able to put her on my boob since she was born I have had to express.. My milk supply is all over the place and not really consistent amounts.. Im just wondering how much other mums got in their first week- 2weeks of expressing and how they maintained a consistent amount of supply? The most I have got is 100ml and I have only had that twice... is this normal, am I just freaking out over nothing? 2. My lo usually has 2/3 sleeps per day and self settles really easily for the first, but struggles more and more as the day goes on, then bedtime is an ordeal. Anyone have any similar issues and what made it easier? 3. Contented Little Baby Book followers. .it says to express 90ml in btw feed but this seems impossible at this stage. Bub is one week old today. Thanks
