Good morning Aces fans. This is Our Alaska Aces Away GameDay - TopicsExpress

Good morning Aces fans. This is Our Alaska Aces Away GameDay report. Todays game comes to us from the Stockton Arena as Our Aces take on the Stockton Thunder. Our Aces are 4-2 in the head to head with the Thunder this season. All of the games have been extremely physical and hard fought and you can expect the same tonight. Last nights game started with a bang as Zack McKelvie and Garet Hunt dropped the gloves 2 seconds into the game. While the Thunder held the lead most of the game, Our Aces never gave up. There were plenty of missed chances throughout the game and when the 3rd period came around Our Aces started capitalizing. Being down 4-1 at the start of the 3rd, Our Aces came back with 3 goals, Mazzolini, Findlay, and MacKenzie, to tie it up and force Overtime. Recently returned, Turner Elson had a playmaker as he assisted on the first goal and the final two goals for Our Aces. I expect to see more physical action as these two teams face each other for a 2nd day in a row. The puck drop for todays game is at 3:00pm Alaska time. Make sure to join Bob Lester, and the rest of the Cowbell Crew (that didnt make this road trip) down at Eddies Sports Bar to watch the game. You can also watch the game on AmericaOne Sports or listen to Mike Benton call all of the play-by-play on KFQD, 750am, 103.7FM, or online at kfqd. You will not want to miss a minute of the action as Our Alaska Aces quest for the 2013-2014 Kelly Cup continues. Lets Go Aces!!! *Note: My in-game scoring updates are live and accurate at the time of the posting but are subject to change by the ECHL.* *All Photos are Courtesy of Todd Meixner*
