Good morning, Carter County! An extremely important public meeting takes place this evening as the Budget Committee of the Carter County Commission holds its Public Hearing on the 2014-15 County Budget. The proposed budget, including a 12-cent tax increase, passed the Committee by a narrow vote of 5-3 at their July 1 meeting. Please pray that our Commissioners come to a solution that addresses the Countys most pressing needs, in a timeframe that still allows those of us attending to tuck our kids in tonight.
