Good morning Christine and Friends of John Denver, We have some exciting news ! The scheduled opening for The Colorado Music Hall of Fame is October 12, 2014 -- John Denvers 17th anniversary of his Journey to Heaven ! Mr. G. Brown, Jimmy Salestrom, Willie Hoovers & I thought this a perfect time since there have been so many delays with construction and it isnt looking likely for August. Since Many Fans & Friends will be here in October we thought it would be nice for you to participate in the celebration as well. Sunday is the Decision to honor John on his special day. We know there will still be some activities in Aspen, however those of you leaving Monday or Tuesday can still stop by on your way out of town. The celebration will be for the Opening of The Colorado Music Hall of Fame , and there will be 1 1/2 hrs dedicated to John Denver. He was the first Inductee, and then we have Spirit ! Jimmy Salestrom is our Music Director and will be coordinating the whole day. Mollie Weaver will be flying in to join us as well. This was all decided last night, so the details have not been worked out. We will keep you posted as we move along. Mr.Brown ( the Executive Director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame & I thank you for your patience this years. Willie will be broadcasting the event on his Radio show, he will keep you posted directly. Another news break ! I have met with The Rev.Dr. Robert de Wetter , Senior Pastor at the Snowmass Chapel and he is interested in possibly placing the Bricks in the Sacred Space dedicated to John Denver ! I have another couple of meetings to schedule and need to wait on Shari & Caroles time frame to help place them . Will keep you posted !
