Good morning FBF, whew what a week, a total whirlwind; however I am very please with the outcome!!!! I am fully rested now and want to take the time to say THANK You to some people who really went ABOVE and BEYOND to help bring my event to life! Connie McDaniels my friend thank you for helping me bring my decor and planning and everything else that I threw at you to life, thanks for keeping it positive and not taking me to seriously when SHARLENE made her appearances! Roxanne James, GF you worked your tush off both infront and behind the scenes and I truly appreciate your presence! Tanya Meertens, my girl who shows up on time and get it done, all it took was that call and she went with that, always there to support at a moments notice! Imani Raychelle, this is one of the most humble young women Ive met in a long time...she hands down made a huge contribution in MLBD kitchen yesterday helping with prep for the eveing, THANK YOU so much!!! Yolande Horne-Payne, sistah girl THANK YOU for all you pulled together behind the scenes, the connection with Tarri, the GRAND Prize, the baked goods and your continuous support... Bryan McDaniels, bigbro...you are one of the coolest dudes I know, ALWAYS have my back and there to capture those oh so special memories, and that sense of humor always makes a difference when things need to lighten up just a little! Claude Jeremiah; buddy, you and your team did THAT with the LOGO, FLYER and WEBSITE! THANK you for making the FACE of MLBD just what I envisioned, you did not disappoint! To The Brand Factory Atlanta, Calvin Evans, Jeff and the crew, thanks for the moral support and encouragement throughout the process. To my Zhnae Baptiste, you did your THANG with those Coconut/Pineapple and those Red Velvet cupcakes, and most of all you did your thing with helping your Ma all day to make sure that everything else stayed on track. To my little helpers NeJahrie Baptiste and Zyyon Garcia, thank you both for helping me stay organized and bringing that joyful/carefree spirit to my day. To my Non-Facebook husband Roland Baptiste, thank you for wearing so many hats yesterday and over the past week, your support and encouragement has certainly fueled my determination.To all my well wishers and supporters THANK YOU for believing in my journey and gift, your words of encouragement and support are truly appreciated.
