Good morning, Here is your forecast for today. 7th July. England, Wales & Channel Islands: Despite a fine start for many areas this morning, we expect another day of sunshine and showers. The North West of England is already experiencing showery activity this morning and it won’t take long for showers to build in other areas. Some of these showers may turn heavy & thundery this afternoon, especially for parts of the South West, Central southern England & southern Wales and then the Midlands later, elsewhere the showers will be fairly well scattered and out of the showers, there will plenty of sunny spells on offer with many places escaping the showers entirely. East Anglia and the South East will be warmest today with temperatures between 17°c - 20°c, elsewhere ranging between 13°c - 17°c Scotland, NI & Isle of Man: Frequent heavy showers will affect NI and Western Scotland today with one or two possibly turning thundery, quite breezy here for a time. For the rest of Scotland we will see a mixture of sunshine and showers, the Northern Isles may escape the showers this afternoon with some fine weather possible with variable clouds. For The Isle of Man, it will remain generally dry with only one or two showers possible this afternoon. Temperatures generally between 13°c - 16°c. Stuart.
