Good morning! How are we faithing? Sin, sorrow and death. Churches - TopicsExpress

Good morning! How are we faithing? Sin, sorrow and death. Churches speak this way and wonder why the doors arent opening. Who wants to go where every one acts like their best friend dog just died. Who wants to go where the people beat themselves up over infractions and gasp when you dont. People, there was sin-sorrow-death until we found Jesus! Why are you still whoopin yer own tail over past sins? Why are you harping on your neighbors sin when they dont even know the savior? Why do you care what they do when Jesus brought you out from under the load of sin so that you were forgiven and no longer dead? Dont you think they deserve the same grace and peace? You say you dont have peace? Well why not? What did the Lord promise? What is your role in this vessel you are occupying? Do you need a refresher course on forgiveness and grace? Is life so rotten you have to drag everyone else down in the basement with you? Come on Christians, its time we love like Jesus taught. Its time we live what we believe. Its time we stop speaking negative about a world that is under the burden of sin and start praying for those things. Its time we worry about presenting Christs grace and let him sort out others infractions. Its time we hold OURSELVES to the higher standard. Instead of complaining about our leaders, pray for them and if they dont perform wisely, vote em out. We can hold leaders to a higher standard but judging isnt our lot at all. We professing Christians, which means we acknowledge Christ as messiah, must be in the Word, on our knees as it were, and speak with love not dripping with hate and or judgement.Wake up church! Eph 2:12-17 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. remember the Lance Simpson family... Heavenly Father, We ask for forgiveness. Help us act becoming in your eyes. Help us do what you teach leaving the circumstances to you. Help us be witnesses to your amazing grace and love. Lord we praise you and thank you for your sacrifice for such a flawed lot as us. In Jesus name we pray and rebuke the enemy and his minion from our path you set us on, amen
