Good morning! Just a little note on my commissions, waiting times - TopicsExpress

Good morning! Just a little note on my commissions, waiting times etc. If you would like to be notified of when my order books open, please PM me with a simple :) These will remain unread and I will reply to you all when I am open for more commissioned work. When you place your order, I always give you an estimated wait time. Please note this is just that. An estimate. If you need your portrait for a specific date, your portrait will 100% be completed and posted to you in plenty of time if you mention this date upon ordering, I will NEVER let you down . If however I estimate an 8 week wait, and you require the piece in 9 weeks time as a gift, if I am not made aware of this I unfortunately cannot guarantee your piece in time. Of course I try my best to complete commissions within the estimated time frame, but life can get in the way. Recently many of you will know my 2 year old daughter has been really unwell. I can only work when she sleeps at the moment, or the few days a week when she is at a relatives house for me to work. If she isnt well, she stays at home, cuddled into me all day. She doesnt settle at night, meaning I cannot work at nights either. I refuse to rush my work. I will take all the time I need to make sure you will be happy with your portrait. I do not fall behind my waiting times due to laziness, but due to being a perfectionist that is juggling a thriving business and family life. It can all get a little hectic. So, please mention the date you need your portrait for upon ordering, even if it is 16 weeks away! Please order as soon as you are able to , I only require a 50% deposit, and please remember I am only one person. I give every piece my all, and like to get to know my customers a long the way. Yes you may be waiting slightly longer than planned for your portrait, but I promise you it will be worth the wait. On top of all of this, please know that I am unbelievably touched and grateful for the support you all show. I still struggle to believe how well Sarah Archibald Artwork is doing, and I am doing my best to keep up with the demand for commissions :) I hope you all have a brilliant day, and thank you to those of you that have taken the time to read this.
