Good morning MCP~Today Id like to share with you a very special piece. This was shared here before. This collaboration 5 5/8 orb with James Yaun was created live in Corning, NY memorial day weekend 2011 during Glassfest. Its one of the most special works I have made with Mr. Yaun for I was able to record all of the tubing fuming studies into one piece. It was backed with cobalt instead of black to assure it would survive the crash overnight cooldown for judging which affects my desire palate reflection. It was an incredible feat and I am still humbly honored to have worked with James on this piece. His masterful vortex work is breath taking on this piece. It was an honor to represent the community among such great peers at that event. Much respect and honor goes out to Justin Trott and Chris Roesinger for participating in this team event.
