If you didnt catch the link with the whole Jesus Calling, here is part of it from the other day. Life is not fair. People are people, and they are judgmental. Its human nature to be that way. So some people will have the nerve to talk to you a certain way or say things about you that are not right and that are hurtful. But just brush it off your shoulders and know that God thinks the world of you and loves you more than you can ever imagine. Take the chance to grow in your faith and forgiveness and grace. Its not about getting even with people it is about loving your enemies. Loving everyone, just as Jesus does. Others opinions have no meaning, God is the all knowing One and Creator, your Father. So just keep looking to Him. He sees you as His child. He Loves you and wraps you in His Righteousness. Think about it the other way around. It isnt fair that we get this free gift from Him. We are sinners. We dont deserve this from Him, but He continually blesses us. Just follow His ways of things and not the ways of others when they treat your poorly. He has filled you with His Love and Peace. Show it to others, especially in the worst of times. Colossians 3:12-14 (MSG) So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.
