Good morning Pony Friends !! Wow, what a long and busy weekend. Lots of changes from my Thursday post and how I thought the weekend would unfold. Wrong !! This has been a weekend of constant change of plans, shipping and ponies in immediate need. At this time I need to share that we have four, yes FOUR, of the 2012 auction foals heading into the rescue today. We were contacted a few weeks ago about these babies. They have a wonderful owner, but due to some serious life changes and added family responsibilities, the babies need a new home. They have been offered privately for sale for months, with little or no interest. We try not to ask for help unless it is necessary, but today IT IS NECESSARY !! We have a shipper heading to lower Virginia as we speak to pick up the foals and bring them here to the rescue. Our initial estimated costs for the foals, shipping, vetting, dental and hoof care is approx. $1,600.00. We are asking at this time for your help. We need $800.00 immediately to pay for the foals and transport. These foals are sired by Rainbow Warriar, Prince and Surfer Dude. All four are foals from Buyback stallions or mares.
