Good morning Quattros supporters, As always, we want to thank - TopicsExpress

Good morning Quattros supporters, As always, we want to thank you all for your continued concern over this case and remind you once again that we have no control over when it will be scheduled by the Paterson courts and you need to understand that. Renee in NO WAY has let this slide but the constant barrage of questioning what are we doing about the case is a bit much and we ask that you please turn your efforts to the proper places, rather than on this page. If you want to help, you can continue to put pressure on the authorities by sending the letter that we wrote for you or call them. (the letter and contacts are attached below in this message.) We said from day 1 that wed keep you posted and you need to trust us. If you want to find out updates on your own, contact Agent Luis from the Passaic County SPCA at 201-487-2964, he is the one that broke this case and he is the one that gives Renee updates. But it would be helpful and productive if more people come to the vigils when they are scheduled and if they live close by or send in the letters or honor Quattro by helping a local animal rescue. Because sitting behind a computer gets us nowhere. yes, i know, we sound a little mad and a little frustrated and we are. We are upset about Quattro everyday just the same as you are but the volunteers who work on this page are here to help Renee and make the process a bit easier for her and all the amazing rescue work she does. Rescue is not an easy life but its a choice and Renee does it with all her heart and soul, lets give her some encouragement rather than posting things that knock her down. Thank you. ---- Here is the letter that can be sent out. Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes Passaic County Administration Building 401 Grand Street Paterson, New Jersey 07505 Main Number: 973-881-4800 Chief Assistant Prosecutor Jennifer Tremonte Bedrin (Juvenile Unit) Passaic County Administration Building 401 Grand Street Paterson, New Jersey 07505 (973) 881-4313 [email protected] Dear ________ I am contacting you because I need to express my continued concern over the disturbing murder of Quattro the cat that was committed in your jurisdiction back in May 2014. As you know, the children who committed this heinous act are very young (between the ages of 6 and 12). The murder in and of itself was upsetting, but to learn the age of the killers was shocking. The terrible issue of children in our society who are capable of preforming such violence needs to be addressed and their actions must be taken very seriously. When children are throwing rocks, bricks and stones at a defenseless living being, it is very concerning. When they are caught doing this, are told to stop but choose not to, it is reprehensible and raises a huge red flag in my eyes. These children must receive counseling. They should also have animal abuse/cruelty charges on their permanent record and should never be allowed to own a pet. Lastly, it should also be the responsibility of the children and their parents/guardians to pay for the cost of medical care that Quattro needed for his fractured legs, an eye so severely damaged that it had to be removed, fractured jaw and the procedure to drain the blood and pus that has formed in his brain. (The abuse was so disturbing that his nails ripped from his paws in his attempt to escape this vicious attack but he was too weak and injured to get away.) Please do not turn your back to this serious crime. Do what is right for our society as a whole, because this sort of behavior is not acceptable. Thank you. Respectfully, A concerned citizen
