Good morning Texas Basketeers! Its BASKET EVE ! For those of you who will be picking up for the first time we always try to make it a point to post a little reminder to make basket pickup fun and easy for everyone. 1. Before heading out to volunteer and pick up be sure to check your official state designated BB page for information regarding possible delays. We work as quickly as we can to post information regarding delays as soon as we receive it. Only information regarding significant delays will be posted. If you do not see anything posted about your site presume its on time. 2. VOLUNTEER! Your volunteer site coordinator has graciously donated their time to bring and keep BB in your community so please show your appreciation by helping them out by arriving at or before the scheduled volunteer time. Without volunteers quality control is affected and it delays the truck which ultimately affects every site on the route. Everyone who contributed for a basket this week is welcome to volunteer. Though children 12 and under 12 cannot handle any of the food items there are other tasks they can assist with, just ask the site coordinator. 3. Have either a printed or digital copy of your contribution confirmation. This is mandatory and there will be no exceptions. 4. Bring something to carry your items home in. Most participants use coolers, laundry baskets, or reusable grocery bags. 5. INSPECT your add on items (this includes the organic basket) while onsite. If there is an issue you can refuse the item onsite. Once the item leaves the site there is nothing BB can do. 6. Wear a smile and have fun. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
