Good morning Today I am grateful for the following: 1) For random conversations with new people and strangers, and how easily they pop up. I am just grateful for how easily it is to strike up a great conversation with a total stranger, and that I am someone who can and who cares to do so. 2) For the courage to trust my art. I practice and I study. I am just grateful for being (evolving) on this side of nerves so that I can courageously be/do/act in front of an audience, and as the stakes get raised I am grateful I can rise to the challenge. 3) For technology that allows me to instantly connect with anyone. My mom and I were reminiscing yesterday of that time when we had our rotary phone, minus call waiting and an answering machine, with busy signals and constant rings if no one answered, and how there was no way to let that person know you called other than to tell them personally. Of course, there was no such thing as texting, emails or social networking. We laughed trying to imagine that life today. And marveled at how technology has changed our expectations of how or when we can connect to others (Then we never called during supper time or after 8 PM, or before 7:00 AM. WOW!)
