Good morning! Today is definitely the pick of the weekend if you have outdoor plans. Sunshine, highs in the upper 60s-low 70s... well take it. Weve got rain and colder weather on the way again starting tomorrow. Sunday really does look like a washout. While it will be mostly rain around the Charlotte area, folks to the north (Iredell, Rowan counties; the Triad area & VA border) may get a little wintry mix of snow and/or freezing rain Monday morning and again early Tuesday w/ temps dropping near freezing. Otherwise, it will be rain. Any accumulation looks to be very light at this point, but as always, well be monitoring for any changes. Rainfall totals may be high in some areas, up to 1-2 inches. This could lead to more flooding problems again. As the rain moves in, temps will hover in the 40s & 50s for Sunday, then only 30s & 40s during the day Monday. But after this chilly start to the week, temps modify late week into next weekend, with 60s back in the forecast.
