A high over the Tasman Sea extends a weakening ridge along the east Queensland coast. A weak upper level low lies over the Capricornia and should shift east into the Coral Sea on Sunday. A surface trough will enter southern Queensland on Sunday and become slow moving, with a broad area of low pressure extending throughout much of the state. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––--------------------- Todays official forecast for the Herbert and Lower Burdekin and surrounds: Partly cloudy.
