Good morning and Happy New Year. It has been a long 4 hours trying to figure out a winner for the New Years Resolution contest and I really couldnt pick one above the next. So what I finally decided on was to give the prize to the person who had the most likes to their resolution comments. It was a tie between Clint Jackson and Sharon Young Beaubouef with 5 likes on each comment. I figure this was the best way to be fair. I read every comment written. Some funny, some flattering, and some that were saddening. Alot of you know that I speak my mind when it comes to my faith in the lord and alot of your comments were close to home. I promised to give you MY New Years resolution and here it is : Over the past two years I have made mistakes in my life by putting others in front of my wife and child. I constantly gave my time, my labor, my guidance, my resources, and my loyalty to people that did not appreciate or acknowledge my good favor or being a man of my word. I trusted peoples word that didnt keep it while I always kept mine even at the cost of my family. I put money in peoples pockets at my expense yet it was never acknowledged or appreciated. I constantly endured greedy, jealous, manipulative, and dishonest people, yet kept living behind my badge of loyalty and the bond of my word. All of these things combined caused me loss of income, alot of grief, and anger to a point where I have cut ties with them all. With that being said, My New Years resolution is to keep my loyalty first to God, and second to my wife and children above all else. I will not let the actions of others cause me any further grief, nor will I let people change my the way I should live my life and provide for my family. Well there it is folks !!!
