Good morning and happy Friday, this has been one week that nothing bad can be said about the weather. It has been beautiful all week, and still no frost on the pumpkins, although the temp. has dropped to the low 40s at night a couple of times. I think its safe to say that summer is leaving us gently, and can only hope fall does the same. Im spending a lot of time gathering seeds for next years garden, the sunflowers, okra, pumpkin, beans, sweet corn, and so on, also all of Susans flowers. The house has every spare space covered with newspapers spread out with seeds drying. Hopefully this mess I have created will get cleaned up in a week or two. We save the oatmeal boxes and the coffee containers just for storing the seeds and this seems to work for us. Note to self, plant more carrots next year, the dogs are going threw them as quickly as I dig them leaving very few for us, but thats ok also, they deserve the treats. On a side note, two of my sons picture made the Falcons week in review, they proudly wore their Falcons shirts to the Bengals game and got noticed.
