What is significant now is that Hamas fighters appear to be better trained, with a new set of skills that I dont think Israel anticipated. One Israeli soldier who came out of Shajaia was quoted in an Israeli publication that Hamas is fighting like Hezbollah, which waged a successful guerrilla war against Israels occupation in the 1980s and 1990s, and inflicted high casualties on Israeli forces during the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel in Lebanon. -CNN
