Good morning and many prayers and blessings may we petition and send up. Let us pray for mercy and favor and healing this day for each other. Coffee ! For lent, and health we have changed our eating habits at our home. The big thing we have thrown out is sugar. I love a little sugar in my coffee. So Ive tried artificial sweetener.... Yuck ! Ive tried it black.... Yuck ! But I continue to drink it and it is terrible... No pleasure at all... So I can relate to this scripture today and imagine Gods displeasure in the way His people worship... Amos 5:21-22 21. I hate your festivals; I despise them. Im not pleased with your religious assemblies. 22. Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I wont accept them. I wont even look at the fellowship offerings of your choicest animals. Amen Coffee is still coffee, but what good is it if it is not presented right. What makes our worship right? When we go to church or bible study or Sunday school or tithe or pray or do good deeds.... Are we doing out of habit, with no feeling or flavor, with no joy or desire?? Honey ! I add a little honey to my coffee and oh boy! It is mighty good.... It is still coffee, I didnt change brands or anything, just added a little pure honey and Im back to enjoying my coffee. Imagine how God feels when we add a bit of sincerety and joy and want to in the way we worship and live. Think about this from Ephesians 5:1-2 1. Imitate God, since you are the children he loves. 2. Live in love as Christ also loved us. He gave his life for us as an offering and sacrifice, a soothing aroma to God. Amen to that !!! Add a little flavor to your life, Imagine what a touch of love can do and how much more God will enjoy His coffee... You are the honey !!! May your day be filled with giving and receiving the blessings That He offers. Peace, Kenny
