Good morning everyone! I began counting my blessings this morning, and there are probably more than I deserve. Gene and I both have health issues, but yet we will get on a plane tomorrow and fly to a foreign country and fulfill one of the items on our Bucket List. We are fortunate enough to leave behind a comfortable home and a decent car and handicapped van. We dont need anything elegant, just comfortable. Material things arent that important. Before we leave on trips, I ALWAYS tell my son and daughter If for some reason something should happen to us while we are gone, just remember we died having a good time. More importantly, all the health issues we have had to face, we have learned to manage them. Our daughter miraculously (according to doctors) is recovering from possibly a life saving surgery. My son and wife have given us the most beautiful grandchildren. I know both family and friends who have bounced back from cancer, etc. If you have a cozy place to live and can manage your health issues, especially at our age, you are blessed!
