Good morning, everyone! I wanted to share something treasured this morning, something that happened on April 8th. I touched on it when it happened, but wanted to share more details now. As you know, I really struggled with my decision about whether or not to move my beloved white piano to Minnesota. One morning, as I was just loving playing my piano in the morning sunshine, which is a treasured morning routine, I suddenly pictured the perfect morning sunshine spot in our Minnesota house and had a beautiful vision of me playing in the morning sun there. At that very moment, I decided to keep it! Whats really neat is I caught the very moment of that decision on video. I was recording a song called A Thousand Years, which is a special song that reminds us of our home in MN. Theres a line in the song that I was reading and softly singing while recording which seemed so perfect for me to sing about my piano. It goes like this: Time stands still Beauty in all she is I will be brave (The next line is played at 2:01 in the video, where Im shaking my head NO. THAT is the moment I decided to move the piano!) I will not let anything take away Whats standing in front of me Every breath Every hour has come to this One step closer ... When we were dreaming of living in MN, each time something would happen that helped us to reach that goal, Deanna and I would sing One step closer! I decided I could not let anything take away whats standing in front of me, which at that moment was my beloved piano. Heres the video of me playing and deciding. You can see a BIG sigh of relief at the end of the video. My decision had been made! A huge thank you to all of you who insisted that I was making the wrong decision when I was trying to sell the piano! You were right! Likewise, a huge thank you to those who supported both decisions, knowing Id figure out the right thing to do in time. Everyone was a huge help in this process! Thank you all!
