Good morning everyone, I would like to thank everyone who believed in me and my candidacy to run for Central Ward Council. Even though the outcome wasnt what we all expect, I feel good and proud of myself. Special thanks to my grandmother Ruth Dennis-Ellis who was not only beside me every step of the way but worked the polls from sun up to down. To my mother Angenette Ellis-Harper, thank you for your continuous support and for making noise yesterday. I cant say enough about my two top ladies in my life and I cant thank you enough. Thank you Reggie who was the head man on my staff who besides my family was my first believer in Changing the status quo, to Devin who help consult this campaign from DC and even came up to help personally and tighten things up. Ryan you are amazing and thank you for your continuous support. To the rest of my family you are amazing! Those who volunteered yesterday Thank you. To Councilwoman Rone Thank you for your support. I can go on and on from those who support my not only in America but around the world Thank you Thank you Thank you. To Gayle Chaneyfield-Jenkins and Councilman Sharif congrats to you two for making the run off and run a great race for the next 30 days to help move this ward forward. To McCray, Brito and Andre LaPaul Speight you all were amazing and it was an honor as well to have met you all. This is not the end for me and I know this was a stepping stone and I can guarantee you that in 2018 they will definitely see me again. Thank you all again
