Good morning everyone :) hoping for some advice, my 2.5 yr old rescue Luso Elmo is finally home from Portugal. We are enjoying the time we get together although he is very shy and in Quaranteen at the moment free in a big lovely barn, we are just trying to build some trust between us. Hes very willing and clever but not a horse you can just grab hold of easily or pat suddenly . Im wondering if I could tap into your collective knowledge and get some tips on interesting activities/games we could do from ground to keep him occupied, thinking and help build trust for his ongoing training later on. What do you do with your youngsters? Any advice appreciated along with names of books youve found useful reading for starting a nervous horse Thank you x
