Good morning facebook friends...that is if I still have any.....any way, one FINAL thought on last weeks exchanging of thoughts on President Obama etc...My intentions certainly were not meant to lose ANY friends I already have, and have just made. Although I am a huge proponent of the 1st amendment, and cherish it dearly, I also feel there is a time and place for everything. Reflecting back on my words, regarding the president, I dont feel I used my 1st amendment rights appropriately. For that, I apologise. Certainly, if I offended ANYONE, I apologise. I am very proud though of what took place on facebook those few days. The way I read that was, not that some of us agreed or disagreed on certain matters. I feel the important thing that took place was, we, as Americans, were able to exercise one of the most precious freedoms, today. We were allowed to have that discussion!! A lot of countries would have us thrown in prison, and Lord knows what else. I would NEVER want everybody to be able to see things my way. Whos to say Im right? Its just my way, thats all. For everybody agreeing with everybody on every thing, would be boring. For those who threw their two cents in, whether being the same as my two cents or not, Im proud of the way in which it was done.
