Good morning folks... Todays forecast is calling for SNOW for FMM, LLB and Edmonton. Not too much mind you, < 1cm, but enough to cause some limited visibility in the evening hours and even daylight hours... Remember folks, Im just the messenger, you cant shoot the messenger!!! Plan your trip a head folks, to avoid driving at night when the snow fall makes visibility the most challenging So far so good on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881. There was some snow earlier, on both roads, but there was no accumulation however, if the roads stay wet, and the temperatures drop overnight, you can and should expect some slippery sections on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881. Today is the day that winter driving starts, wrap your head around that immediately. No super loads today folks, but the construction zones are still active... Flaggers and road crews... If you are standing on an icy road, plan your escape route, should some DBag that is not paying attention, and is doing a piss poor job at using The Force to guide him/her, start to slide, because they hit their brakes at the last possible second. I dont want to hear of someone else getting hit or worse. Winter is here folks... Lets ALL plan ahead and not get in a hurry Stay safe, drive to the conditions and remember...
