Good morning folks… to start the day off; Environment Canada has issued a heavy fog advisory for the Capitol region. A band of thick and heavy fog is expected or occurring. The potential is there for near zero or zero visibility and because the temps are well below zero, there is also the possibility of icy and slippery sections. So far so good on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881 with no new incidents to report. The super loads will be rolling north in a few hours and as always, please pass them with care. Construction zones will still be very active folks…so please slow down and watch for flagging personnel. Over the next few days, you can expect significant, south-bound traffic volumes, from people making their escape for Christmas Break/Holidays… Please plan your trip accordingly and give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination, so that no one gets the dreaded call, this close to Christmas.
