Good morning friends. This morning we will continue with the benefits of doing good and living a sincere Godly life even when no one is watching you. Joseph due to his faithfulness to his master Potiphar and to himself and above all to God, he was successful in everything he did. Genesis 39:3. Even after Portiphars wife lied against him and he was jailed; in vs 23 the jailer did not have to look after anything for which Joseph was responsible and made him succeed in everything he did. God is not asleep. He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him and make His word a standard for their lives. In Genesis 41:38-44 Joseph was handed over the entire land of Egypt as the next in command. The people of Egypt were asnwerable to a Joseph (a foreigner) this is absurd! But get this, God is a true rewarder and He honors His spoken words. If you are faithful when no one is watching, u will surely be placed higher than ur equals. Joseph who was faithful to God even while in the prison, became a successful man in everything he does. We can also be like that. When trials and tempations come our way, when we like Joseph overcome by the grace of God built in true constant study of His word and making it a part of our lives, then we can be assured of an everlasting victory and success. Remember Job, remember Daniel, remember Shedrach, Meshack and Abednigo. Remember Paul and Silas in the prison singing praise to God even in that ugly state??? We also can be more successful than them all, if we can be the light of Christ everywhere we go. Especially when no one we know is watching! Psalm 1:3 say they are like trees that grow beside a stream/river that bear fruit in season and out of season and they succeed in everything they do. We can succeed if we can at this moment bow our heads in humility and repent of those dark secrecy which is displeasing to him. Remember that hard work success does not give you the joy and peace that a God given success gives. Success without God is comes with problems and pains. Lets turn to God and let Him rule over our lives and all that we do, then we can like Joseph have success that can never be matched with anyother.
