Good morning friends Well it is morning and I am in the process of settling down. ( one post on FB is in order) A few random thoughts “ chasing the sun” We took off from Delhi at 3 am, the sun was behing us, we were in the dark, but prodding on towards Amsterdam. Two hours of flying and day break, all lit up, reached Amsterdam at noon, now sun was right over our head. Took off at 4 PM with sun ahead of us, we were chasing the sun, putting all our might to catch up .. But by the time landed in Mexico. It was dark. “ we have plenty of time” Sounds familiar, yes thats what life is all about, childhood we do not bother about time, light, knowledge, future, destination. As we grew we became aware of the world, and since then we are chasing the sun, thinking that it will be always there to give us light. We need a bit more of effort, a few swings more, we always want to be in sunlight. Yes the sun will be there, but we may not be there to receive it, so make the most of the time we have by loving and sharing... “Did not see a single border” Crossed half of the earth, but did not see a single border,there are no lines drawn anywhere on earth. These are only in the minds of people. Sight of earth is same everywhere. Very beautiful, full of surprises and at peace. There is no strife visible. “ we all are same” In Amsterdam, a lady approached from behind showing me her boarding pass “ eff- oche?” I said “ no espanyol” she said “ no ingles” I said “ no intendio”. She said “ dont understand “ we both burst out in laughter. She had memorised the English version and I spoke the Spanish version, after both admitted that we do not know each others language. I showed her my boarding pass, I was going to f3, she wanted directions for f8. “ no children around” I stated at the airport for a good 8 hours, but noticed a very strange thing. There were hardly any children around, no toddlers, no prams, no baby in arms... Only grown ups with a high percentage of obese people. Yes definitely Europe is ageing and consuming disproportionate resources. The sun rose at around 7 am. Good thing is away from the jaundiced news channels. No barkha to yell, no Arnab to shout, no Rahul to scream and no Karan to cry... ( incidently, these four form the BARK of jaundiced Indian media ,pun unintendedly intended) Will connect with more once settled... Have fun..
