Good morning friends and crazy cousins, I received a nice email message from Mike Seel. Mike works with our youth at the YMCA and brought a group of T-ballers down to our Pop with a Cop event. Mike shared some photos of the children interacting with Deputy Dan Orzech and Butch, Sheriff Sigsworth, and I. Mike requested a group photo, so I hopped out of the Red Wagon for a brief time for the honor. I high fived all the kids before I left. Mike captured one of those moments and thought it was worth sharing, so here it is. Speaking of kids stuff, we are only 27 days away from our Touch A Truck, National Night Out event. The kids are going to love the event, getting up close and personal in some pretty neat trucks, military vehicles, dragsters, cruisers, and other vehicles. Were so excited to provide this opportunity to reach the youth of our community. Please mark August 5th down as a must attend event. I got your message loud and clear friends and cousins. Next month (August) we will host a Coffee with a Cop at an establishment in the evening, most likely 5-7 pm. Were trying to be responsive to your requests, so well make it happen! Two days down, so far so good, havent been called into the new managers office yet (shhhh lets keep it that way!) It takes a whole village to raise a child.
