Good morning good people! I have spoken to Moira Anne Felgate from MAPS and they are willing to help neuter the stray dogs and cats in Barra. I will do fundraising and want to include as many lodge owners as I can. This can be a great service to the community there. MAPS is also willing to create awareness by educating the locals on the importance of spaying. I am very grateful that this is becoming a reality!! Firstly though, I need the number of the state vet in the area if anyone can help me with this, so we can get the ball rolling. I will be in Barra for the next 2 weeks to see what exactly the need is (amount of animals that need spaying), so please comment if you will be there too ,or have a lodge and are willing to help so I can come and pop in to see you. After I got all the ducks in a row I will post again where you can donate money if you wish to help. This is a wonderful opportunity to give something back and I hope I get lots of response! Unfortunately I cannot do much until I have the state vets number or address first and the blessing of the chief of the area
