Good morning, it’s a new week of opportunities. In this - TopicsExpress

Good morning, it’s a new week of opportunities. In this environment you might ask? Oh yes, right where you are. Mark Caine says “The first step towards success is taken when you refuse to be the captive of the environment in which you find yourself”. I couldn’t agree more. It is said that every event in life serves as a learning experience. Even the not so pleasant ones help to bolster our preventive or defensive mechanisms. A new week thus presents a fresh platform for reinforcing one’s positive experiences while seeking out new ones and as we progress in life, our sorting mechanisms become sharper. The scripture says that “Isaac sowed in the land of Famine…..and prospered”. The irony incidentally is the fact that it is the difficulties in the environment that makes the opportunities so compelling. The challenges in a space are directly correlated to the solution possibilities and the consequent prosperity obtainable there from. Perhaps the opportunities are not always obvious. That’s not surprising if you consider that as someone said “opportunity does not knock, it presents itself when you beat down the door”. However at the end of the day, we are still human and need to constantly lean on the only INFALLIBLE ONE. A friend of mine said the other day that “Lean times can be learning times if we learn to lean on God”. Hmmmnn, this ministered to me and I hope you feel the same way. Scan your environment for hidden treasures of opportunities, tap into them and place your confidence above and you will come up with bountiful harvest just because you have depended on the one that is able to make the impossible possible. This week, go ahead and tear down the doors shielding your opportunities of progress and may you find His shoulder to lean on and experience firsthand the Awesomeness of our heavenly father. Do have an exciting week ahead.
