Good morning life speakers! Hallelujah it is Friday! I pray that you have had a blessed week thus far this week and you are looking forward to an even greater day today and this weekend. You do not get a day off when it comes to Christ, so keep functioning, keep operating, keep pressing in the things of the Kingdom! Afterwards/After this After – following, past, gone ; Afterwards – later, after that, then, next… What are you waiting on to happen next in your life? Sometimes before we can get to the after this or afterwards we have to be obedient to what God has called and asked of us to do. Obedience will release your after this. When we look at Joel 2 vs 1-11 “the day of the Lord” as we go into vs 12-17 “A call to repentance” then vs 18-27 “The Land Refreshed” then vs 28-32 “God’s Spirit Poured out” Men and women of God, God is calling us to turn to Him and repent for the day of the Lord, the kingdom of God is at hand. No man knows the time or hour of His return. We must repent for our sins. Repent not in words but in actions; turning away from our sins and following in the footsteps of Christ. When we repent, let’s not repent just in our tears and sorrowfulness and lip service, but in fasting. Some things only come by prayer and fasting, that’s the word. After this, Afterwards, after the fast, after our cry out, after our prayer, after we are obedient to the voice of the Lord 28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. (Joel 2:28) Who is ready for God to POUR OUT His Spirit on ALL FLESH? Are you ready for your after this, your afterwards? It’s not too late. If you are reading this today, you still have an opportunity to get it right with the Lord. “…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 After you humble yourself, after you pray, after you seek my face, after you turn from your wicked ways; THEN God will hear from heaven and will forgive our sins and heal the land. After this is right around the corner. Obey and walk in your after this anointing.
