Good morning my family and friends. I know Ive been remiss in my usual morning posts, and for that I apologize. I could make the excuse that Ive been extremely busy with school, but that would be exactly what it is: an excuse. So Im back at it again. The last few weekends have shown me what is truly important to me in life. Not going to big name concerts, or eating in fancy restaurants, or getting drunk and partying like Im 20 years old again. Its not having the finest clothes or fanciest cars. Its family, friends, and God. Ive been able to reconnect with family that I havent seen and spoken to much in years, made new friends and rekindled old friendships, and found my way back to my relationship with God. And no matter what I can truly say that I feel blessed in all of it. I have an amazing relationship with a wonderful woman, a son that I love more than life itself, a good job that Im happy with, a church that I love and friends and family that mean everything to me. And Ive come to all of this through much adversity and trials and tribulations. But its all been worth it. When faced with two equally tough choices, most people choose the third option: not to choose. Make that hard choice. Choose that hard right over the easy wrong. Dare to be great. Choose to be amazing. Love like today is your last day on earth. Cherish those near and dear to you and never let them go. Forgive and let go of hate. Trust your life to something higher than yourself. All these things and more will bring you out of the darkness and into the light of a truly amazing life.
