Good morning my fellow comrades, brethren, friends, scoffers- - TopicsExpress

Good morning my fellow comrades, brethren, friends, scoffers- whoever you may be in relation to me. I felt led to take the time and share some insight today. At the risk of losing your interest or intrigue, I pledge that my intent is not to persuade you with wise or persuasive words; good grief, I dare not insult the intellect I have witnessed on your behalf for the last 6 or 7 months. My goal and aim is to stir up your faith, that you may rise to whatever occasion the Son of God has set before you this day. Of course I shall not challenge any of you without giving evidence of my own perseverance or endeavoring to strive. I have been a Christian for 13 yrs now. My spiritual life has demanded sacrifice, obedience, willingness, pain, long-suffering, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and all importantly, Love. Have I made mistakes? probably more than most. Have I sinned? More than Id like to share. Am I perfect? Pretty close, just kidding :). Far from it!!! Am I striving to be perfect? Yes indeed, Jesus Himself commanded, Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matt 5:48. The Lord during all this time has been faithful to say the least. His faithfulness certainly has been my shield and rampart. (Ps 91:4) and He has continued to strengthen my inner man, my faculties and innate abilities that I would place my reliance and dependence on His immutable and infallible promises. Believe me, I have seen some dark freakin days where I felt if I were at the bottom of the Ocean without an oxygen mask! Ive been as close to death in my thoughts and in my life as I could possibly be, without actually dying. Hence my post :). All this time I have been believing what is written in the Sacred Book. I ask and implore you beloved, rise up today and believe. Keep your dreams alive; refuse to forfeit them, no matter what the cost. You may resign your thoughts to the apathetic conclusion,I dont feel like it, well Jesus didnt feel like dying the painful death He knew that was inevitable, when he pleaded, O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. Matt 26:39 Brethren, I must, and purpose to press on in faith. I ask you to join me. Dont allow the tangible, the material world to dictate your faith, your discernment or your conclusion. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Heb 11:1 what we dont see, we much strive for. Dreams are invisible, at least until we attain them. Absolutely refuse to resign yourself to self-pity. Feeling sorry for ourselves wont get the job done, faith will. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will. And yes as tacky as it may sound, I love each and every one of you scallywags. :). p.s.- stay thirsty my friends, Jesus is the only Living Water we have.
