Good morning my wonderful family & friends. Well yesterday was a really nice day. I had a good visit with the Orthopedic surgeon (for those of you who did not see my post yesterday afternoon). He said if I were 20 years younger, he would recommend knee replacement for my left knee but at age 64 since Im no longer playing tennis or racquetball like I did 20 years ago, he saw no reason for that replacement at all but instead to just do cortisone shots from time to time to keep the swelling down. I like that and there is something to say about age now, I think that is a good decision. As far as the left ankle goes, he said pretty much the same thing, lets try the cortisone shots for a couple of times to see if the swelling comes down and if not then he could go in with a scope and drill out the cyst inside the heal bone that is causing all my problems. He said, man you must have done lots of tennis or racquetball because your knees and ankles are really torn up! I said yep, that was my life a few years back but now the most tennis I see is with my Wii!!! LOL Well today not much going on, just got a call from a lawyers office (friend of mine) who is having email issues so I will go see if I can help him out.
