Good morning on behalf of Troop 388 Bear Creek campers. Sorry for the late response and status update. There are no computers here at camp to give a complete status report on. The best we can hope for is a couple blurbs throughout the day when the wifi opens up. It is only available here at the pavilion in lower valley so there are not many oppertunities to get to it. As I guess all of you can tell, all campers made it safe to camp on Sunday and we even made it in time to take our swim test. All the boys did great and even though all didnt make full swimmer, they all still got in and tried. After all the walking around and big dinner they had, they were surely ready for bed. That is after most of the creepy crawlers were gotten rid of. There were even around 40 daddy long legs in my tent. Next day was great. We got heavy cloud cover and a little rain in the morning which made things feel great. All the scouts eventually got to where it was they needed to go. A good amount had several things they wanted to change and it was great to see them take care of getting those changes taken care of. The evening was spent playing games until well into the evening and the Rangers went out to do their conservation program. I think one of the scouts went and participated in the shooting contest but i would need to confirm that. As of right now, the scouts are in their second session class and it is nice and cloudy which is much appreciated. I will check back in towards the later part of the day to see if anyone wants to leave a message for your scout. Hopefully i can upload a few pictures of how things are going here.
