Good news from Glorieta. The New Mexico Federal District Court has ruled it has jurisdiction to hear the lawsuit by leaseholders against LifeWay, the SBC and Glorieta 2.0, the entity to whom the conference center was given, regarding the way leaseholders were treated. Basically, we wuz robbed. The lawsuit asks for $12.5 million in actual damages plus treble punitive damages. Thats $50 million in total potential liability. Maybe now Thom Rainer, President of LifeWay will take us seriously and honor the commitments LifeWay made to leaseholders and followed for 59 yeas prior to their actions in 2013.
