Good news this evening; I e-mailed the person who coordinates the Master Naturalist program. I attended all of the classes, & passed the exam, but had never managed to complete all of my volunteer hours necessary to receive my certification. Its been almost 2 years since I took the exam. They told me there was no time limit, & that theyve had some people take 5 years to finish their hours! More good news; the extension agent who hosted the program when I took it resigned shortly afterward. Thats who I was supposed to submit my hours to. This e-mail said I could scan and e-mail them directly! More good news; I thought I needed 24 more hours. Dug out my log & discovered I only need 13 hours! I have several teachers interested in having me present nature programs to their classes. This should be done in no time! Happy dance! OK, those who know me know I dont dance, but you get the idea! LOL
