Goodmorning everyone, now it is time to count down two more of the twenty most appreciated/most popular T.o.t.D.s. Both were from December last year (the first and the last week in 2012) T.o.t.D.#18 Thought of the Day: My pain revealed. I suffered something I am not used to for Jesus over the weekend and thought it would be a good Thought. I was on a dating site and I found a girl; I knew we wouldnt get along dating wise but her profile was full of just looking for friends, I get along with everyone, everyone can message me, and Here are twenty things I have always wanted to know about, if you can help feel free to message me. So I messaged her I would be glad to help her with three (graphic novel recommendations, history, and pharmacy law) but I got a rather rude reply. She ignored that kind offer, looked up two of the questions (that site asks yes or no questions for compatibility) I had answered differently than her and spent a paragraph just making fun of me for two of them (one of them was evolution) but I sent a courteous reply, Ah well thank you for your time then. Thats funny because of the 33 books I have that completely disprove evolution, 14 were written by Ph D or higher levels of education. (my favorite was an anthropology study found in One Race, One Blood but I digress) I addressed the second with similar sentiment showing the canyon sized hole in her thought process: if she wanted to be rude she could have ignored my email altogether, why did she bother to reply if she was going to be hateful? I am not used to being hated like that for my faith but I accept all persecution for Christ. It will take more than a few jerks to assuage me, I guarantee. T.o.t.D. #17 Thought of the Day: Is suicide the unpardonable sin? No it is not, in scripture you could see that it is indeed a sin that a Christian should NEVER consider (if you are curious we can look at some passages together), but a believer in Jesus has been forgiven of all their sins and God did not tell us otherwise in His word. Sometimes people forget that Christians struggle with pain or depression and do stupid things when they are humbled like a non-Christian, but suicide is never the option for either (according to my research a lot of young Christians kill themselves; how tragic) Last nights Hank Hanagraaff broadcast laid this Thought on my heart
