#Google reveal #Ouya...we mean, #Nexus Player Google have today announced a new set-top box device which you can use to take advantage of countless #Android apps on your tv. Whether this will allow for games such as Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja is beyond us, as they are specifically made for touch screen, so maybe knock those off the benefits list. According to a report from #Joystiq, The hardware boasts a 1.8GHz Silvermont quad-core Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage space, and supports 1080p video streaming via services like Netflix and Hulu. Google will also launch a twin-stick controller peripheral priced separately at $39, putting it in direct competition with Amazons Fire TV console. The device launches on November 3rd, and will set you back $99 if youre interested in checking it out. Some vocal internet users (there are a few, here and there) claim that Chromecast does the job well enough by itself, so what added advantages will this set-top gaming device offer us? Were listening in the meantime.
